Snickerdoodles

Now these were just what I needed today: a little nutmeg, some cinnamon, sugar, all rolled into goodness. I used the recipe from Rachel Allen's Bake and am very, very pleased with the result. The boys wonder contributed their expertise, as well.

I'm thinking homemade play dough is next. I'm really looking forward to that.

You know, snickerdoodles travel really well...and you know those cookies would love to join me for a glass of milk...

BTW> Your boys look adorable!

I can't believe how big they are (the boys, not the snickerdoodles)! They look like they are having a pretty good time baking the cookies though, and I'm glad you are not one of those moms who won't let the kids help ...

I *heart* snickerdoodles. Recently, I saw a recipe for Snickerdoodle Scones. I should go find that again ...

Oh yum and those are the two cutest preps I've ever seen a chef have!!!! so cute and Yummy!!!!!!

P.S. Recent Cooking question:

Dear Queen La la. this may sound like a rudimentary cooking question, but I've always been puzzled- How do you clarify butter? What should I be using to "skim" off the milk fats... all the cook books say "skim the top" but I really don't know what that means... Any ideas?
